About Us
North Star Animal Center is a state-of-the-art pet daycare and boarding facility in San Antonio, Texas. We accept dogs of all breeds, cats, and bunnies — we are also happy to explore caring for other kinds of pets, if you reach out. Our space is specially designed to be peaceful, extra clean, and roomy — so your pet can feel relaxed and comfortable during their stay with us.
Dog Spaces
We currently have two spacious indoor greens; and an outdoor green-space that is under renovations to provide your pet with the best playtime possible.
All our greens have sanitary-irrigation systems — essentially, running water through the grasses to keep the area clean and cool for your pup’s play-time. All of our cleaning products are 100% pet-friendly and EPA certified.
Your dog can enjoy toys, playscapes, and one-on-one playtime with one of our care specialists up to 5 times a day! They are given beds, bowls, and treats. We proudly provide Royal Canin food for all our pups.
Cat Spaces
Our large play-room for our feline friends has plenty of toys and climbing posts, in addition to an on-wall cat tree for them to nap and snuggle on.
A new addition to our cat space is the laser play machines!
North Star Cats enjoy extra large dens during their stays, giving them a two-room suite that separates their bedroom and bathroom areas.
We proudly provide our cats with Royal Canin food to nourish their health and enrich their lives.

We provide our furry guests with physical and mental stimulation while loving them as if they were our own. We are honest and transparent with our pet parents so that your pet’s best interest is always at the forefront.
